The future of Bali Badminton Camp is looking bright. As we step into 2026, we are proud to officially welcome Head Coach Hendra, Assistant Coach Hendry, and Social Media Manager Alif to the Smashtravel team.
Hendra brings more than 20 years of experience as both a coach and a former national-level player. With a coach background in multiple academies and competition in the Indonesian national circuit for PB Tangkas Jakarta, his knowledge and leadership form a strong foundation for our coaching philosophy and player development.
Hendry, also a former national-level player, has been ranked among the top three doubles players in Bali. With coaching experience at PB Champion Bali Jaya, an extension (satellite club) of Indonesia’s biggest club, PB Djarum, he has played an important role in developing and scouting young talents. His understanding of high-performance badminton are invaluable to our camp.
Alif, currently in his final year at university, brings creativity, digital skills, and a modern storytelling approach to Smashtravel. In today’s digital era, his ability to capture and communicate our daily activities, values, and progress through content is essential for us, in building a digital connection with our community.
The most important part of this is that our visions are aligned. Together, we will do our best to build a long-term and sustainable structure to motivate and develop players from around the world who choose to train with us in Indonesia! ??

Only two days left to tango, and preparations are in full swing in Ho Chi Minh City’s lively concrete jungle.
The camp is almost fully booked, and we are very happy to see such strong interest on short notice. This will give all participants a great training environment throughout our two weeks of camp, while it also gives us an extra spark of excitement to get started.
We are very much looking forward to welcoming all participants arriving tomorrow in HCMC, and on Monday it is time to step onto the court! ??

This summer we are creating something we haven't done before, for our signature camp in Sweden, that we started 7 years ago.
It will be divided into three parts, over a period of 2 weeks. A high-performance badminton experience in June/July, open for both junior and adult players.

- Open for age groups between U13-U19
2️⃣ International Tournament | 28-30 June, 2026
- With a total of 5,550 USD in prize money
3️⃣ Adult / Senior Camp | 1-5 July, 2026
- Open to ages between 20+

It is TIME for Smashtravel Camp 2026! 🏸🇸🇪 After seven summers of building, learning, and listening, we are now ready to open up the registration for Smashtravel Camp 2026. This summer is extra special for us. For the first time, Smashtravel will host both an international tournament together with @hanekyu_offical and a camp specifically for adults and seniors. Both are happening because of the interest and requests we have received over the years, especially from adult and senior players who wanted a Smashtravel experience made for them. The summer is divided into three connected parts: Smashtravel Camp – Juniors (U13–U19) 📅 22–26 June Smashtravel Hanekyu Open – International Tournament 📅 28–30 June Open to juniors, adults and seniors Total prize money: 5,550 USD Smashtravel Camp – Adults / Seniors 📅 1–5 July Open to players above +20 years Each part can stand on its own, or be combined into a longer badminton summer in Sweden, focused on training, competition, and a shared high-performance badminton experience. Last year the camp was full, and we have already received early interest for 2026 in which we have started to go through. Today we would like to invite you all to Japan Badminton Camp 2026 will take place in April 2026, offering a truly unique training and competition experience in Japan. The camp runs from April 1–10 in the countryside of Tochigi, with an optional extension until April 14 for players who wish to combine elite training with international competition at the Omotenashi Cup in the iconic city of Kyoto. This is an elite badminton camp open to all ages and levels, with players grouped by age and playing level to ensure a high-quality, developmental training environment and strong sparring opportunities. 🗓️ Duration: 10–14 days (April 1–14, 2026) ❕ Limited capacity: Only 10 juniors + 10 adults This camp is about more than just badminton.
